KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was a case of rain tumbling down the five straight distance in the seventh of 11 races on today’s (Sept 19)  programme at Caymanas Park just moments ago.

Rain Drops with lightweight apprentice Jordan Barrett doing the riding duties - drawn on the stand rails - used her speed to get in front from the off.

Barrett kept the Carl Anderson trainee up to her work and was able to thwart the consistent challenge of Raddesh Roman and Lava Boy to be successful in a maiden condition call for three-year-olds.

Lava Boy was second with 6-5 favourite Papito (Robert Halledeen) third.

Rain Drops clocked 1:01.0 for five furlongs straight.
