The Caymanas Sunday upset comes in the third – D’s Choice at 22-1 - 17 tickets left in Reggae-6

KINGSTON, Jamaica – After two races with the favoured horses holding court, the now expected upset found its way to punters in the Caymanas Sunday third in the form of the Alford Brown trained D’s Choice at odds of 22-1.

The upsetter was present in a Maiden Condition event for three-year-olds at 6 ½ furlongs.

D’s Choice ridden by the red-hot apprentice Jordan Barrett who is now slipping three kilogrammes raced behind tearaway leader Wifey Sez  So (Paul Francis) who gave a lots of trouble to enter her starting stall.

At breakneck speed, Wifey Sez So brought the field into the lane but was now being tracked closely by D’s Choice.

D’s Choice then accelerated to get by Wifey Sez So, winning by 3 ¾ lengths. Third was Purposely.

The 3-5 favourite Above All Links was a no show.

The win by D's Choice left a mere 17 tickets in the Reggae-6 which sold $8.2 million.
