KINGSTON, Jamaica – Despite being eight-years-old and in the twilight of his career, the spunk, grit and determination have not left the hoofs of Superluminal.

This bay horse had to deal with much younger horses in the Overnight Allowance Errol ‘Big Sub’ Memorial Trophy race which was run over a mile as the closer of the nine races today (December 5) at Caymanas Park..

Ridden by his favourite partner Omar Walker, Superluminal trained by Ian Parsard contested the lead from the off with Rohan Kabir (Paul Francis), while Legality and Eroy were waiting their turn to strike.

In the stretch drive, Legality and Eroy started to press Superluminal with the latter even pointing at one stage but that was when Superluminal gives his best, as he rallied to get back in front before pulling away for the victory.

Legality was second with Big Bang third.

The winning time was 1:38.1.
