KINGSTON, Jamaica – The man dubbed “The Maestro” by his peers and those in racing many times champion trainer Philip Feanny demonstrated that despite cutting down on his training activities in recent years for breeding pursuits on his stud farm there is still much left in his conditioning arsenal.

Having watch his two-year-old Magenta win on her first outing earlier in the day, “The Maestro” capped his Boxing Day activities when his charge Salvation (Youville Pinnock) won the Caymanas Boxing Day ninth.

Salvation, the even money favourite could not go with the leaders in this sprint contest but when asked to move forward with a just about a furlong left responded well to the urgings of Pinnock to sweep by all and sundry for a second career win.

Second was Executive Chief while the third slot was occupied by the ever consistent Big Big Daddy.

The winning time was 59.4 seconds.
