Salah kicks home at 52-1 to win Caymanas 10th – double for trainer Ryan Darby

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Staying well off the pace, Salah under the guidance of jockey Omar Walker produced a telling kick inside the final furlong to take the 10th at Caymanas Park at bruising odds of 52-1.

It was Kingswood who showed up on the front end when the starter let them go in the  $850,000 - $800,000 claiming contest run over 7 ½ furlongs.

Leaving the half mile Wilson (Robert Halledeen) took over and entered the lane with the advantage by only just over Dontae (Dane Nelson).

With Dysfunctional (Kiaman McGregor) gaining rapidly, Walker came through the middle and pushed ahead, pulling away to win by 3 ½ lengths.

Dysfunctional was second with Azaria (Devon A Thomas) running on for third.

The winning time was 1:33.0.

Salah completed a double on the day for trainer Ryan Darby.
