KINGSTON, Jamaica – Ratio after finishing second behind Pure Heart at odds of 15-1 was elevated to the winner’s position following what was the obvious disqualification of the latter.

Pure Heart ridden by Delroy Beharie in a Restricted Allowance offering for five-year-olds and upwards non-winners of two travelling 6 ½ furlongs, came across and blocked the path of 3-5 favourite Congrats Suckie causing jockey Dick Cardenas to pull up his mount when in a challenging position. In doing so, Ratio who was way behind was able to nip Congrats Suckie for second and therefore got the victory after the stewards’ ruling.

Ratio is trained by Everal Francis and was ridden by apprentice Kiaman McGregor.
