Rare victory for jockey Ruja Lahoe, trainer Shaun Williams in Caymanas Saturday first

KINGSTON, Jamaica – With a late burst coming through horses Tradition was able to catch and defeat rivals in the Caymanas Saturday first.

The win by Tradition gave trainer Shaun Williams and jockey Ruja Lahoe their first win in a long while.

JamalJames the 3-2 favourite with Romario Spencer in the saddle and Mr Lyndhurst set the splits but the former shortened quickly in the lane.

 Mr Lyndhurst was first tackled by General Mubaraak (Dane Nelson) but kept on going until Lahoe and Tradition arrived.

Mr Lyndhurst was second and General Mubaraak third.
