RACE 1 – One of the ordinary races on offer with the only thing of note being winner Unbreakable achieving his 25th win from 103 starts.

RACE 2 – Winner Anaso was the first upsetter of the day at 28-1. This was the first time Anaso was running for his new trainer Ryan Darby who continues to do well with his first-time claimers.

RACE 3 – Another winner for trainer Robert Pearson who has been having a productive 2021. This time it was three-year-old Will The Conquerer in a four-furlong straight. Pearson’s horses are doing exceptionally well and is a trainer to follow.

RACE 4 – Badgyalriri racing for only the second time delivered for champion trainer Anthony Nunes at the three-year-old maiden level. The Sensational Slam offspring also provided long-time jockey Richard Reid with a rare winner.

RACE 5 – Overwhelming favourite K D Rocket (1-5) found one better in Puskas in this five-straight contest. Ridden by a rejuvenated Aaron Chatrie who has had a sudden uptick in form over the last two race days, Puskas trekked across from the number one draw to the outside to claim his victory.

RACE 6 – Berry Boy delivered at odds at 7-1 to give trainer Michael Thomas and jockey Marshall Porter a rare visit to the winners’ enclosure. This win by Berry Boy continued the trend of outsiders on the day.

RACE 7 – This was a battle between the foreigners Lure of Lucy and the well raced Eagle One, both from the barn of trainer Wayne DaCosta with the latter getting home at searing odds of 34-1. A poor run for the much-touted Lure of Lucy who assets must now be revisited and reanalysed.

RACE 8 – Winner Diamond League was the release valve for young rider Mario Chong who after many sleepless and worrying hours found a winning mount. Mario is the son trainer Albert Chong. Let’s hope it gets better for the young man from now on.

RACE 9 – Of late jockey Javaniel Patterson has found a new lease on life. This recent invigoration came to the fore again in this race after Patterson piloted Diosa de Oro to a comfortable victory.

RACE 10 – Duke proved that at age five he is probably at his best ever form. With a change of owner, the Gary Subratie trained Duke benefited from a well-timed ride from Dick Cardenas, who sat off the scorching pace set by Patriarch before delivering a telling response in the final furlong and a half to win the trophy race going away.

RACE 11 – Jockey Javaniel Patterson sealed his double on the day, so too did trainer Wayne DaCosta when Casual Affair made one lift to win the nightcap. Surprisingly Casual Trick was not claimed.
