KINGSTON, Jamaica – The combination of jockey Anthony Thomas and trainer Ryan Darby won their second race in succession when Sharp Skirt took the Caymanas Sunday fourth.

This win by Thomas moved his winning margin to five over closest rival Dane Nelson as both reinsmen vie to become the champion jockey for this season. Thomas and Darby had combined in the third to win with Formal Gladiator.

It was a relatively easy victory for Sharp Shirt and Thomas as they simply waited in the third slot before striking at the top of the lane.

After a tussle for about a furlong with Awesome Cat, Sharp Skirt pulled away to win by 2 ¾ lengths.

Kunama (Romario Spencer) running on was second with Awesome Cat (Reyan Lewis) taking the third position.
