KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was expected to be a walk in the park for Pharoah It Is in today’s (July 11) second race at Caymanas and so it turned out.

Racing off the pace set by Gypsy Jam (Chris Mamdeen – 6/1), Pharoah It Is at odds of 1-9 was kept behind the leader by jockey Robert Halledeen before striking with four furlongs to go and from then the end result was never in doubt.

Pharoah It Is trained by Gary Subratie moved away from rivals to win the three-year-old maiden event run over 9 furlongs and 25 yards in commanding fashion by 4 ½ lengths.

Second was Sweet Renisha (Hakeem Pottinger – 6/1) and third was Gypsy Jam.
