KINGSTON, Jamaica – Racing for the second occasion, Mum, the chestnut daughter of Sensational Slam – Saint Cecelia, romped the Caymanas Wednesday fourth, the Eight Thirty Sprint)  to give a hint of her possible talent.

Ridden by Aaron Chatrie for trainer Spencer Chung, Mum was always with the front runners until the final furlong and a half when she opened up to win impressively by over three lengths.

It was never a contest as Artesia (Omar Walker) finished second with Atonement (Reyan Leiws) third.

On a slow track the winning time of 59.3 is worth noting.
