RACE TYPE – Three-year-olds non-winners of two

DISTANCE – Five furlongs round

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Cold Pursuit not known for his speed waited far behind tearaway leaders Casual Affair (Phillip Parchment) and Another Prosecutor (Robert Halledeen) before his rider Reyan Lewis asked him to go and Cold Pursuit responded in a flash to take the Caymanas Boxing Day sixth.

Casual Affair, the leader in the straight with two furlongs left in the contest faded badly allowing the likes of Papito (Chris Mamdeen) to gain significantly on the inside rails with Suasion who was slowly out mounting a challenge as well.

Just when it appeared that Papito would come out victorious, Cold Pursuit trained by Ryan Darby came flying to win by three-parts of a length. Papito was second and Suasion finished third.

The winning time was 1:00.2.
