KINGSTON, Jamaica – The almost forgotten King Arthur obviously relishing the sloppy underfoot conditions used every weapon in his armoury to win the historic 100th running of the Jamaica Derby.

King Arthur is owned by Carlton Watson, was ridden by Phillip Parchment, is trained by Wayne DaCosta and is groomed by Leon Walker.

The winning time was 2:33.1.

King Arthur won at odds of 18-1.
