KINGSTON, Jamaica – Kaka My Love has been threatening to win for a while now but the four-year-old filly waited until today (July 18) to release the maiden tag in eye catching style.

Kaka My Love ridden by Anthony Thomas and trained by Oneil “Sweetie Man” Markland was successful in a four-year-old and upwards maiden contest run over 5 ½ furlongs.

It became clear from the off that the contest would be a tussle between Kaka My Love and Eleadon’tplay (Robert Halledeen).

After a brief encounter at the top of the straight Kaka My Love pulled away to win by seven lengths.

Eleadon’tplay was second with Fabuloscity the 3-5 favourite third.
