Highly Bless goes two for two in Caymanas Saturday first as Summit of Speed weekend gets underway

KINGSTON, Jamaica Punters got off to a good start as the Summit of Speed weekend got underway moments ago at Caymanas Park.

The 2-5 on Highly Bless drawn at 10 in the field of 10 made light work of his nine rivals winning comfortably by 4 ¾ lengths.

In this short sprint, jockey Omar Walker just kept the Victor Williams trained Highly Bless on a straight line course before opening up the throttle in the final furlong.

Highly Bless, a three-year-old bay colt by Legal Process - Reef Maker was recording his second win from just two starts.

Another Prosecutor (Samantha Fletcher) at 9-1 was second with Double Jeopardy (Dane Dawkins) third.

For trainer Williams it was his seventh winner for the year and for jockey Walker it was his 42nd.
