Four riders dislodged from their mounts in Caymanas Sunday fifth – as winner Primal Fear disqualified

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Quickgallop.com can now report that four riders fell from their mounts during the conduct of the fifth of nine races on the Sunday (Sept 27) race day at Caymanas Park.

The four riders are Anthony Thomas who was checked by medical personnel and will continue to ride on the race day. Thomas was aboard Gorgeous Gift in the fifth.

The other three riders to fall in the fifth are Jerome Innis (Nomas), Tevin Foster (Smoke Haze) and Roger Hewitt on Persistent One.

Innis, Foster and Hewitt will not be riding for the rest of the race day.

Winner of the event Primal Fear ridden by apprentice Oshane Nugent was disqualified by the stewards and taken out of the race for causing intimidation and interference to Big Big Daddy, Colour Me Tan, Nomas, Smoke Haze, Persistent One and Gorgeous Gift.

Big Big Daddy was promoted to first.
