KINGSTON, JAMAICA – Apprentice Tevin Foster joined his brother as the first two winners on the Sunday programme at Caymanas Park when he steered home Nez Perce in the second race. Tevin’s brother Orlando won the first race on Lightning McQueen.

Trained by Wayne Parchment, Nez Perce was successful in a maiden condition event for four-year-olds and upwards travelling a mile.

It was an untidy start for the 2-5 favourite In the Blood and Funky Fashion as Adore Me took the lead followed by Eleadontplay.

After the lead was swapped around – in the straight – three horses, Eleadontplay (Omar Walker), Nez Perce and Hard Working Man were vying to gain the advantage.

Eleadontplay backed out leaving Nez Perce and Hard Working Man (Oshane Nugent) to fight it out.

In a tussle to the wire it was Foster and Nez Perce who prevailed.

Hard Working Man was second and Eleadontplay third,
