KINGSTON, Jamaica – After a slow start, first time runner Dodge This Link bred by Traditional – Danzig La Rae coming from the red hot stables of trainer Ian Parsard came with a flourish in the last furlongs to win the seventh of nine races at Caymanas Park a short while ago.
Dodge This Link won a maiden three-year-old contest over a distance of four furlongs straight.
The mostly inexperienced runners that made up the field of 16, were all over the straight course with 98-1 chance Casual Affair showing good speed moving swiftly from the one draw to the centre of the track.
Inside the final furlong it was anybody’s race until Dawkins appeared with Dodge This Link.
Elitist at 19-1 was second with Casual Drink third.
