KINGSTON, Jamaica – With a mandatory pay-out today in the Reggae-6 exotic wager and with a large pool wagered players got off to a rocky start following the victory by Primal Fear at 18-1 in the first race.

Primal Fear’s victory came in a Restricted Allowance call for three-year-olds – non winners of two - run over a mile.

Trained by Alford Brown and ridden by Oshane Nugent, Primal Fear was engaged in a fierce battle with Big Big Daddy (Dane Dawkins) who at one stage gained the advantage in the straight only for Nugent and Primal Fear to rally back to score by half-a-length.

Third went to 6-5 favourite SenCity who raced at the back in the 11 horse field.

Quickgallop.com understands that after the win by Primal Fear there are 411 live tickets left in the Reggae-6.
