‘Fabulous Five’ for the dominant Dane Nelson – double for trainer Patrick ‘Wacky” Lynch as Drone Strike obliges in Caymanas Saturday ninth

KINGSTON, Jamaica – It keeps getting better and better for jockey Dane Nelson.

The powerful rider just brought home his fifth winner Drone Strike in the Caymanas Saturday (Nov 7) ninth offering run over six furlongs for horses at the Restricted Allowance 111 and IV level who are five-year-olds and upwards.

The win by Drone Strike trained by Patrick “Wacky” Lynch was his second in a row and gave the trainer also his second on the day.

With those five winners and one by Anthony Thomas thus far on the day, it means that Nelson is only six wins behind Thomas in the jockeys’ race.

Second in the tight finish for supremacy was Lazer Light (Oshane Nugent) just a head behind Drone Strike while Doom Patrol (Aaron Chatrie) was third.
