#EUROPEAN RACING: Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe latest odds, raceday set for Sunday, October 4 – Can Enable win for a record 3rd time?

LOVE2

Each year the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, considered to be the premier horse racing event in Europe, ante-post betting offers a fascinating insight into how the rising middle-distance stars of the Classic generation are rated against the established 1m 4f elite.

This year’s Arc is due to take place on Sunday 4 October at Longchamp (or ParisLongchamp as it’s now known) in France on the Route des Tribunes in the Bois de Boulogne.

Enable aims for an unprecedented third win in the race after she finished second to Waldgeist when bidding for the hat-trick in 2019.

We’re officially in Arc week now and the excitement and intrigue looks set only to grow with the five-day declarations on Wednesday before the all-important draw on Thursday and the 48-hour declarations on Friday.

Epsom Oaks winner Love and Enable, who is seeking to become the first three-time Arc winner, remain at the head of the betting. But the bookies have been making some recalculations among the chasing pack as it becomes clearer that some of the biggest names in the ante-post Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe odds will be running elsewhere.
