Elitist – first winner for trainer Jason DaCosta in Caymanas Wednesday sixth

KINGSTON, Jamaica – New trainer at Caymanas Park Jason DaCosta notched his first winner when Elitist, owned by the his mother Elizabeth, won the Caymanas Wednesday sixth.

This was DaCosta's second winner on the day, as he also won the fourth race at Mahoning Valley in the United States earlier on.

Elitist (Anthony Thomas) and Another Prosecutor (Javaniel Patterson) were engaged in a fierce battle when the go button was pressed by the starter.

Another Prosecutor then set off three lengths in front while navigating the final to enter the last two furlongs with a clear advantage.

Thomas riding at his very best rallied Elitist on the inside to catch Another Prosecutor. Iamacitizen ((Trevor Simpson) was third.
