KINGSTON, Jamaica – Even after pitching at the start, Truly Amazing continued her 100 per cent record when racing over the straight course.
Truly Amazing recorded her fifth career victory moments ago in the sixth Saturday offering at Caymanas Park, and all five wins have come travelling down the straight.
This latest win by Truly Amazing ridden by Dane Nelson and trained by Spencer Chung came at the Overnight Allowance level.
Nelson who was completing a quick double after winning on General Mubaraak in the day’s fifth, was behind the early leaders but got Truly Amazing going when they crossed the dummy rails.
Truly Amazing responded and took over with just about a furlong left.
Ras Emanuel (Omar Walker) was second and Wartime (O’brien White) third.
The winning time was a fast 58.2 seconds.
