KINGSTON, Jamaica – Under the care of trainer Gary Subratie, an obviously rejuvenated Duke (Casual Trick – Lady McBeth) made it two wins from three starts in the fifth of nine races at Caymanas Park a short while ago.

Competing at the four-year-old non winners of four level travelling five furlongs, Duke owned by leading owner Michros and with stable jockey Robert Halledeen directing his movements was a tad off the pace before finishing strongly to get the better of his stablemate Soul Cure (Christopher Mamdeen) by 2 ¼ lengths. Roy Rogers (Paul Francis) finished third.

After a stewards’ inquiry Soul Cure was disqualified and placed third behind Roy Rogers for causing intimidation and interference.

The winning time by Duke who now enters the realm of Overnight Allowance was 59.2.
