KINGSTON, Jamaica – Racing for the third time, the highly thought of Double Jeopardy got the job done but only just in the eighth race moments ago at the Park.

Ridden by Dane Dawkins, Double Jeopardy had to stave off a persistent effort from first timer Sensational Satin (Hakeem Pottinger) to win a Maiden Special Weight contest on the five-furlong round course.

Dawkins was having his second winner on the card after piloting home Formal Gladiator in the seventh. Third went another newcomer Silent Seeker.

Double Jeopardy is trained by Ian Parsard. The winning time for the distance was 1:02.0.
