Double Crown reappears on racing radar – as Omar Walker lands four-timer on Caymanas Wednesday eighth

RACE TYPE – Restricted Stakes Three-year-olds and upwards non-winners of four   

DISTANCE – 7 ½ furlongs

KINGSTON, Jamaica – After winning his first two races earlier this year a lot was expected from Double Crown.

Yet, he went off the racing radar after low performances in the Classic races and after.

Double Crown reappeared today in the Caymanas Wednesday eighth after a 53-day absence and totally demolish rivals in what can only be described as an outstanding run.

With Omar Walker doing the riding duties for trainer Ian Parsard, Double Crown raced just behind the early pace setter Primal Fear.

Walker then asked Double Crown to go leaving the five-furlong marker and then showed his undisputed talent by pulling clear while maintain a strong gallop in the last furlong.

Second was Excessive Force with High Diplomacy third.

Double Crown completed a four-timer for Walker and a double for Parsard.
