KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Alford Brown continued to build his stocks when he closed a quick double with Beach Boy in the Caymanas Sunday fourth. Brown won the previous race with rank outside D’s Choice.

Beach Boy was the victor in a Restricted Allowance call for four-year-olds and upwards non-winners of two travelling 5 ½ furlongs.

The ever troublesome Victory Turn gave no ends of trouble to the gate handlers but shot out of her starting stall as if possessed.

Victory Turn (Raddesh Roman) was followed by Heiroffire (Dick Cardenas) and Beach Boy (Oshane Nugent).

In the stretch drive Beach Boy got alongside Victory Turn with Heiroffire close by.

Nugent got Beach Boy at his optimum best and the four-year-old bay gelding pulled away to win by 2 ¾ lengths. Heiroffire was second and Nevada third.
