A “Roman’ affair in the fourth as Deep Blue Sea wins on a canter

KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was a case of Roman domination in the fourth race won by the prohibited 1-9 favourite, Deep Blue Sea.

Trained by Johnny Wilmot, Deep Blue Sea is owned by Sydney Roman and was ridden to victory in the six-furlong four-year-old and up maiden contest by apprentice Raddesh Roman.

It was a one horse race as Raddesh Roman went straight to lead from the off winning by 16 lengths when the winning post arrived.

Second was Eleadontplay (Anthony Thomas – 5/1) second with Cruizinn Ted (Linton Steadman – 13/1), third.
