KINGSTON, Jamaica – Doom Patrol got punters off to a rollicking start as the first race of 10 unfolded on the Saturday (July 18) card at Caymanas Park moments ago.
Doom Patrol ridden by the little used Orlando Foster and trained by Spencer Chung, waited behind leader Parajet (Dane Nelson) in the 5 ½ furlongs contest for bottom of the barrel claimers.
Foster waited until reaching the three-furlong marker before driving Doom Patrol closer to the leader. In the straight Parajet was having trouble as Doom Patrol went clear to win by 13 lengths.
He’sthereal Links (Romario Spencer) was second with Lambana (Kiaman McGregor) third.
Doom Patrol was Foster's first winner this year.
